The new screen.

Hello everyone! Nice update here, with something visual for once.
We have finished up the menu as far as the Options, Controls, and Information tabs. We are going to do the Logbook feature once we finish reworking the menu and screen, which is what this update is all about. I have settled on a final screen size which favors wide screens, as all games should and normally do. The resolution will be a very common 640x480. It actually works out very well with most of current view and HUD element sizes. Very minor changes need to be made graphically. That is where we are now - redrawing the HUD. We are splitting it right down the middle and trying to figure out how to fill the newly acquired space. I already promised you guys some new items. I have decided that there will be FOUR new items. I will reveal them to you through a new update, though some obvious hints are in the below WIP shot. Be sure to keep giving me your opinions and check the past few updates for further details. On the topic of items, the following have been REMOVED:
The Grapple Beam was removed due to lack of functionality. The Dark and Light suits were removed because it is just an obscene amount of suits that are not being used for anything really relevant or important and simply represented redundancies. The current suit lineup is now Varia, Gravity, Phazon, and Corruption. The ability to change suits on the fly is also in question, since we may simply integrate a typical suit acquisition hierarchy like the real games.

On another note, I will not reveal this person's name, but we may have a new spriter. The 2.0 version of the game may not be released until the sprites we want to replace/add are completely finished. Why does that matter? Because he/she is working on other projects at the moment. He/she should be done around mid-November at the latest. Anyway, 2.0 will blow you away just like the upgrade from the Tech Demo to the AI Demo!
That's all for now! Keep the opinions and input rolling in!
